Tanjung Puting Klotok & Orangutan 3H2M
3 Days 2 Nights
Max. 8 travelers
Meeting point: Airport or hotel in Pangkalan Bun (pickup included)
About this trip
Tanjung Puting National Park in Central Kalimantan is one of the best orangutan habitats in the world. The journey is made by klotok, a multi-deck wooden boat that serves as both transport and lodging for two nights.
You visit Tanjung Harapan, Pondok Tanggui, and Camp Leakey to see orangutan feeding times, then have dinner in the nipa palm forest where fireflies gather.
This package is shared-cost: the boat, guide, and national park ticket costs are divided equally, so the price per person drops as more travelers join. The trip is run by the lookorangutan operator in Kumai.
