About this trip
Bunaken National Park in Manado is known for vertical reef walls that drop more than 25 metres, so the underwater scenery can be seen from the surface. The waters are home to turtles, Napoleon wrasse, and thousands of reef fish.
The first day explores Manado city: the Jesus Blessing Monument, Malalayang Beach, and local dishes such as tinutuan, or Manado porridge. The next day a glass-bottom boat takes you to Bunaken and Siladen for snorkelling.
On the third day we head to Tomohon, a flower city in the highlands, to see the colourful Linow Lake and Kasih Hill before returning home.
