Baduy Dalam Cultural Trekking 2H1M
2 Days 1 Night
Max. 15 travelers
Meeting point: Rangkasbitung Station
About this trip
The Baduy people of Lebak Regency, Banten, uphold their ancestral customs: no electricity, no vehicles, and nature protected as a sacred trust. Inner Baduy consists of three villages: Cibeo, Cikeusik, and Cikertawana.
The trip starts at Ciboleger Terminal, passing through Outer Baduy and the Cikuyutug root bridge made from living tree roots. This trek of about 10 km takes 4-5 hours.
In Inner Baduy there are strict rules: no photography, no soap or toothpaste in the river, and no certain gadgets. Staying in a villager's home is a humbling experience that changes how you see things.
